Bajaj’s Pulsar family has just welcomed N125 as its latest member. The bike aimed at young, urban riders who are after a mix of sporty looks, efficiency, and practicality. N125, coming with a very appealing design, new engine and a bunch of features, has been priced at an ex-showroom price of ₹94,707, the same as India’s first budget 125 cc bike.

The heart of Pulsar N125 is a newly designed air-cooled single-cylinder engine displacing 124.58 cc and producing 12 PS at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The motorcycle claims to give 58–60 KMs per liter in this category. Having a weight of 125 Kg, the Pulsar N125 offers a good power-to-weight ratio which is definitely advantageous in city traffic and quick take offs.

The motorcycle boasts of impressive aesthetics along with powerful looks, bold shapes, masterfully done tank shrouds and great front part design. The new framework uses the engine as a stressed member for better rigidity. Digital or partially digital instrument cluster, USB charging port, LED lighting (available in certain models), and Bluetooth compatible display with smart connectivity in the premium-version are some of the notable features that come with the bike. The 795 mm seat height and 198 mm ground clearance are such that they suit all types of riders and terrains.

The Pulsar N125 comes in two primary variations – the “LED Disc” base model and the “LED Disc BT” (Bluetooth) top variant. The latter comes with features like wider tyres, connectivity options, and a more premium specification. With the ex-showroom prices starting below ₹1 lakh and full access to Bajaj’s service network, this model offers excellent value in the 125 cc sporty commuter segment. It is in competition with other bikes such as the TVS Raider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125 R.
