Maruti Suzuki Baleno Car Launched To Compete With Creta, know Its Features

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is still a car that has not lost its charm and is still considered the leading model in India’s premium hatchback segment. The car will receive a significant overhaul in design, technology, and safety for 2025, but it will retain its value and efficiency. The carmaker is boasting about its new offering on the Nexa website and among the highlights are sharp body lines, a dual-tone interior, and the 1.2-litre K-series Dual Jet Dual VVT petrol engine, which is highly fuel-efficient.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Engine Performance

The Baleno’s petrol engine, which has a capacity of 1.2 litres, can deliver a maximum torque of about 113 Nm. This gives the engine a strong urban usability character and at the same time, it provides excellent mileage—22.3 km/l for the petrol manual model and almost 22.9 km/l for the AGS automatic according to the figures from Nexa. The Baleno is still the leader in its class when it comes to fuel economy. The vehicle can be equipped with a 5-speed manual or AMT/AGS automatic transmission, which not only makes it a comfortable car for both city stop-start and easy highway cruising but also gives it the versatility of handling different types of driving situations.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Feature-Rich Cabin & Safety Upgrades

The premium features include a contemporary flowing dashboard with glossy black or chrome accents, a 9-inch HD touch display for infotainment with mobile connectivity, and fashionable link-ups. Safety-wise, one of the significant moves for 2025 is the distribution of six airbags as standard throughout the range, thus not only meeting the regulatory requirements but also enlarging the market segment of the car to those buyers who appeal to safety features.
